Safe Driving Red Ribbon Campaign

On Friday, December 27, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) will be handing out red ribbons to promote safe and sober driving.

In the story from News 10 ABC, MADD is teaming up with the New York State Thruway Authority, and will be handing out the red ribbons at various locations, not in just the Albany area, but all over New York State.

This campaign is one of the most visible and longest projects that helps bring awareness and encouragement to not drive drunk. The MADD website has all kinds of statistics about various incidents and casualties resulting from people driving under the influence.
