A Drunk Guy Gets Busted For Calling Troopers For A Ride

The intent was probably good. The execution was WRONG! I know we all hear that we aren't supposed to drink and drive. It is true, we shouldn't do it. We have been told that we should call for a ride when we have one too many, and that's true too.A Claverack man identified as 26 year old David Cowles made the call for a ride because he was intoxicated. He didn't call a cab though, he called the police. State Troopers arrived at his location and he was drunk and swearing. They gave him a ticket for disorderly conduct.

Then he made the big mistake and called them again. The second time he did get a ride, straight to Claverack Court for a second disorderly conduct charge.
