When you think of things you're constantly in contact with that could be littered with germs and bacteria, what comes to mind?  Most likely it's a doorknob, toilet seat or cell phone; but those answers would be incorrect. Turns out, they pale in comparison to something else that we touch, hold onto, and use everyday.  Here's a hint: It's inside your car.

According to a study, your steering wheel is the not only the dirtiest thing inside your car, it's nastier than you think.  It's way worse than a cupholder, doorknob, volume control, or the shifter.

When it comes to dirt and grime and bacteria on the steeling wheel, we have no one to blame but ourselves. Eating in the car may be the fastest way to get from point A to point B, but it's also the fast way to spread germs from points unknown to your face.

According to the report, eating in your car is more likely to get you sick than eating off of toilet seat.
