Recalled Cell Phone Cases Causing Burns, Find Out If Yours is Safe
With phones being so expensive, in order to keep it in working order, you have to have a phone case on it. Well, research has proven that if you have a glitter phone case, you may be in danger!
More than a quarter-million glitter phone cases are being recalled after people have complained about being burned when the case cracked, according to ABC News. The main purpose of a case is to protect your phone and may become damaged in the process. These liquid glitter phone cases are being sold from major retailers: "Amazon, Henri Bendel, MixBin, Nordstrom Rack, Tory Burch and Victoria's Secret stores from October 2015 to June 2017."
After people reported burns, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a recall on glitter phone cases. All liquid glitter phone cases made for iPhones 6, 6s and 7 - 17 different models, have been recalled. 19 people in the United States alone reported burns from the MixBin phone cases specifically.
