A few weeks ago we posted some updated photos of Randy Travis at George Strait's final concert in Texas. Although the singer looked like he was on the road to recovery, several reports are surfacing that he is unable to speak.

It's been a year since his heart health scare- congestive heart failure, stroke, and battle with pnuemonia- and although he's made a few public appearances, sources like TMZ are revealing that he is unable to speak.  Taste of Country.com is also reporting that the information has been mixed, but he did not talk during his recent visit with Dolly Parton backstage in Oklahoma.

Back in March, Taste of Country.com shared Neal McCoy's update on the 'Three Wooden Crosses' singer.

“He looks great, but is still struggling to use both of his hands,” McCoy tells People Magazine (quote via Contact Music). “I don’t know if he’ll ever fully recover, but he’s a tough guy with a work ethic.”

As of the latest information on Randy's improvement on June 23, 2014, Taste of Country.com states:

A rep for Travis tells TMZ that the singer’s inability to speak may not be permanent. In fact, the therapist cites three years as a possibility for the country star to return to the stage.
