Power Outage Leaves Patrons Stranded On Rides at The Great Escape

Earlier this afternoon, severe storms caused a power outage that left riders stranded when rides shut down at the Great Escape.According to the Times Union, everyone was eventually able to safely get down from the stalled rides. The article says this happened around 2 p.m. when severe downpours and thunderstorms were passing through the region.

Glad to hear everyone got off the rides safely! That had to be an unnerving experience having a ride shutdown while on it.
