Utica is about 90 miles west of Albany. The Polar Express is a special holiday train. According to Utica’s Observer Dispatch, There were about 300 people, primarily children. Police and firefighters responded to the accident. Our sister station Lite 98.7 also has more info.

The Utica Fire Department sent buses to bring the riders back to the Utica train station. I am happy to report that thankfully there were no serious injuries.
