Price Chopper has issued a voluntary recall of its five and eight-inch streusel-topped pies.  The announcement was made late Monday night.  The streusel comes in a variety of flavors including apple, blueberry, cherry and peach.

The problem is, the streusel possibly contains eggs, but eggs are not listed as an ingredient.  The pies are safe for consumption for anyone not allergic to eggs.

Anyone who has purchased a streusel pie from their local Price Chopper, can return it at the store for a full refund.  If you used your Advantage Card, the company will most likely alert you of the recall.

For more information, you can visit Price Chopper's website or call 1-800-666-7667.
