One More Snow Storm Heading Our Way
The groundhog typically can't be trusted, can he? When good ol' Punxsutawney Phil predicted 6 more weeks of winter back on February 2nd, I figured it was just par for the course. Well that was 6 weeks ago, and if we're to trust the furry little dude from Gobbler's Knob, this latest round of snow we're about to get here in the Capital Region Monday into Tuesday, should be our last. That's the good news, the bad news is that it's a pretty significant storm heading our way.
Most of the weather models we've seen in the past 12 to 24 hours show a pretty sizable storm heading towards the east coast impacting the immediate Capital Region this evening through most of the morning tomorrow dumping anywhere from 3-6 inches in Albany to up to 8-12 inches in Cobleskill. Snow will begin to fall later this evening and continue through your Tuesday morning commute. If there's one thing we can predict about the weather in the Capital Region, it's that it can be very unpredictable. However, when furry Phil called for 6 more weeks of Winter, he nailed it!
