NY State Plow Drivers Needed

The New York State Thruway Authority is looking for seasonal help to maintain the nearly 3,000 miles of roadway that covers the state. Snow plow drivers are needed and the starting pay is decent.Applications are being accepted now for seasonal employees under the job title of Thruway Maintenance Worker. The main job is to keep the roadway clear and safe for all motorists through the rough winter weather.

Seasonal snow plow drivers will earn between $18.36 and $24.04 per hour (plus time-and-a-half for overtime). This is depending on experience and geographic work location. Snow plow drivers work seasonally but there is a chance this job could lead to something more permanent as a maintenance worker.

There are some requirements. You must have a Commercial Driver License B or higher with tank endorsement and no air brake restriction. It is imperative that you have 18 months of experience operating constriction equipment or vehicles.
