In a story from ABC 10, it happened when he was playing outside his residence at County Route 67 in The Town Of Saratoga. The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department was called.

It was reported that the boy did not provoke the fox when he was attacked. He was sent to Saratoga Hospital And Nursing Home to be treated for puncture wounds to his hands and leg.

The boy’s dad killed the fox before anyone from the sheriff’s department arrived. It was secured by the New York State Department Of Environmental Conservation so it can be tested for rabies and other diseases. The Saratoga County Health Department also called to the scene.

No word on the condition of the poor little boy. Hopefully he’s alright. This is something that will probably affect him for the rest of his life.
