Launch Family Entertainment plans to bring its adventure park fun to the Albany area. Known for its exciting mix of activities, Launch started in 2012 as a trampoline park but has since grown into a full-on entertainment complex. Think laser tag, bowling, trampolines, rock walls, mini golf, and a restaurant and bar.

With 27 locations nationwide and eight more on the way, Launch is eager to make its mark in Albany. According to Jeff Todd, the company’s chief development officer Albany is a perfect fit thanks to its strong population and promising real estate options. He said,

We’re really focused on expanding in the Northeast, and Albany has the right mix of opportunity and growth potential.

Launch centers typically occupy 30,000–40,000 square feet and thrive in bustling retail areas near stores like Walmart or Target. They’re also open to malls with good access points, reflecting the shift of shopping centers into entertainment hubs.

Albany already has a few adventure parks, including SkyZone, Urban Air, and the upcoming Fun City Adventure Park. But Todd says Launch offers something for everyone, from soft play areas for little ones to family-friendly mini golf and bowling.
