13th Capital Region Chipotle To Open Soon in Saratoga County-Chekc it Out

Get ready for the thirteenth Chipotle Mexican Grill location in the Capital Region. It's being built in a very busy section of Saratoga County. This one will also come with a rare drive-thru called the Chipotlane.

This location makes me extremely happy. The new Chipotle will be built in Malta and will be more convenient than the Clifton Park location, with fewer traffic lights. You will just have to navigate a few roundabouts.

It is located off Exit 12 of the Northway, next to Starbucks and behind a strip mall with Five Guys, Jersey Mike's, and an AT&T store. This is a busy area of Malta, but navigating it is much better than the congestion at the Chipotle Clifton Park location. Plus, the new Chipotle in Malta will have a special drive-thru lane.

This drive-thru is different than what you are used to. It's actually called a Chipoltlane. This is exclusively for online orders for pick-up. You order on the mobile app and pull into the Chipotlane to pick up your meal. Brilliant!

Although no date has been announced for the opening of this location, you can see the progress in the gallery below. The contractor is all done, now we wait for the inside to be complete.

This isn't the only Chipotle being built in the Capital Region. A New Chipotle Mexican Grill is also planned for Hoosick Road in Brunswick.

There are currently twelve Capital Region locations. There are three in Albany, one in Amsterdam, one in Saratoga, one in Schenectady, one in Clifton Park, one in Latham, one in Queensbury, one in Rensselaer, and one in Glenmont.
