A new Irish pub is setting up shop in the Albany Warehouse district.

They say when one door closes, another one opens. Apparently that applies to bars as well!

The Times Union is reporting a new Irish Pub is opening in the old Stout location in the Warehouse District. Molly O'Bryan's opened last weekend with a classic American pub menu with some Irish flavor mixed in.

Stout was closed down last Spring by the State Liquor Aurthrority and fined $30,000 for serving underage drinkers, according to the TImes Union report. The previous majority owner Mike Graney still operates another pub, Graney's Bar and Grill on New Scotland Road in Albany.

I love an great Irish pub, so it's great to see this spot remain and Irish themed location. And just in time for the best beer drinking season of the year: Autumn!
