Missing Vulnerable Adult: Public’s Help Needed

Have you seen this man?  If so, call New York State Police at 315-366-6000. 

New York State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Alexander J. Thornton, 33, reported missing and classified as a vulnerable adult on September 7th.  Thornton is from Clay, NY, which is about two hours west of Albany.

According to the New York State Police, he was last seen on Friday, September 5th.

Description

  • Height/Weight: 5'10", 160 lbs
  • Hair/Eyes: Black hair, brown eyes
  • Clothing last seen in: Blue T-shirt, black shorts, black baseball cap
  • According to the New York State Police, the vehicle he was last seen driving was a black 2008 BMW M6 with NY plates: LFX3223

Family's Heartfelt Plea for Son's Safe Return

Alex's mom, Carrie, posted this to Facebook on Monday.  She says that Thornton's cell phone died, and she has had no contact with her son since Friday.

We need your help! Our son Alexander J Marinelli (Thornton) has been missing since late Friday night, 9/5. State Police are involved. Last known location from his phone, before it died, is Pulaski, NY. Please, please let us know if you have any information or sightings. If you have connections to that area, please share!
