Mark Chesnutt’s Hot Summer Country Classic
The Albany area is seeing a hot sweaty start to Summer 2012. If you're looking for the perfect song to play on a hot summer day, we've got this great memory from Mark Chesnutt.
In 1990, Chesnutt debuted on the Country Music scene with 'Too Cold At Home.' The song had already become a Chensutt fan favorite as he performed the tune at local club gigs and recorded it on a small independent record label. However, when MCA Records picked him up and re-released the song, the steel-guitar driven lazy country classic found it's way up the Billboard Country charts.
When you can't beat the summer heat, just grab a cold beer and sing along (in front of an air conditioner) "It's too hot to fish, too hot for golf, and too cold at home!"
