Man Accused Of Double Murder In Upstate New York Is On The Run
An Upstate New York man wanted in connection with a double homicide in Binghamton earlier this month is on the run, and police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Sources believe he could have recently traveled to Florida, where the manhunt continues.
Armed and Dangerous
According to sources, Scott C. Mitchell, 50, is wanted for the murders of Daniel McCloe, 58, and Marshall VanOven, 55, who were reported missing on February 3rd and found dead on February 5th in Binghamton, New York - about 2 hours southwest of Albany.
Sources say that Mitchell and the two victims were believed to be friends, although police did not specify a motive for his alleged actions.
Mitchell is considered armed and dangerous, quite possibly down south, and police have warned the public not to approach him if they see him; instead, call 911.
