Pick Up Your Online Purchase At Police Department

Did you ever make an online purchase on Ebay or Craigslist, and wish that you could pick up your purchase somewhere other than having it delivered to your home by someone?

Maybe you were worried about the person that was selling the items, and didn’t have a good feeling about them. After all, those people are strangers to you. You probably don’t know anything about them. It’s always a good idea to meet the seller in a public place.

Now there are two local police departments that want to help. The Hoosick Falls Police Department and Cobleskill Police Department are offering a safe alternative to receive your purchase. The two police departments are offering residents their parking lots as a safe place to make the transfer. According to the story from News 10 ABC, both police departments have security cameras set up that are always monitoring and recording the area.

I have a feeling that there may be more police departments doing this.
