Local Apps to Download This Summer [LIST]
No matter where you go, I'm sure you have your cell phone with you. Between Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat, there may not be a ton of space but I know of a few local apps that you need to get through the summer.
- 1
WGNA
If you're out with friends, not near a radio, and you need some music, where's a better place to turn than the WGNA app. Notifications on weather, traffic, breaking news and of course the ability to stream the station from anywhere.
- 2
New York Brewers Association
There are more than 300 breweries in New York State, they got together and created an official app. Traveling around and looking to try out some local beers? Put in your location and it'll show you what's nearby. Also, utilize the passport feature and see how many New York Breweries you can visit and also use the app to suggest your next favorite!

Local News Outlets
Where's a better place to get up-to-date news locally than our local news? CBS6, News10ABC, NewsChannel 13, and the Times Union all have great apps to utilize. Pick your favorite outlet and be first in the know with what's happening in the Capital Region.

Discover Saratoga
With the Saratoga Race Course opening back up soon, I'm sure you're going to be spending a lot more of your time in Saratoga. If you're trying to figure out what's going on while you're around, restaurants that are open, and parking options, this is the perfect app for you!
