Lebanon Valley Champion Heading To NASCAR Truck Race
This week NASCAR released the official entry list for the upcoming Camping World Truck Series race and the name of a local driver from Lebanon Valley Speedway is on it.
Two-time Lebanon Valley Speedway modified high point champion, JR Heffner, from Stephentown, New York will be heading out to Eldora Speedway in Ohio for this week's NASCAR Camping World Series Truck Series event.
Heffner is a three time winner of the Mr. Dirt Track USA title and is considered one of the dirt track aces in the field for the CarCash Midsummer Classic. Heffner joins other noted dirt track specialists like Chris Graythen/Getty Images for True Speed CommunicationScott Bloomquist who will be driving a truck owned by NASCAR star Kyle Busch.
There are several well known NASCAR drivers in addition to the regular drivers of the Camping World Series who plan to be on hand this coming Wednesday night. Dave Blaney, Ken Schrader, Kenny Wallace and Ryan Newman are expected to compete.
Heffner will be driving the A. Collarusso and Son Inc. and Park East Sales LLC sponsored No. 44 truck.
