Latest Chick-Fil-A Rumor: Is A Latham Restaurant Coming?

After a hoax last week which led us to believe Chick-Fil-A was coming to the Troy area, we may have reason to believe a Capital Region location is still coming.

At this point you are probably thinking I am nuts. I cannot get enough of the Chick-Fil-A speculation. But, I love me some Chick-Fil-A and it is one of the great fast food restaurants we do not have access to here in the Capital Region unless you are traveling through Albany Airport.

So, when I read today Chick-Fil-A is now rumored to be coming Latham, I had to at least report it. According to a Times Union report about an Albany Airport Authority meeting touting the success of the Chick-Fil-A inside the airport, and someone from the airport staff revealed the restaurant is planning to open a Latham location in Latham in 2020.

Take this for what it it worth, but according to the article from the Times Union the airport Chick-Fil-A has been a huge success and extremely popular with travelers. You would have to imagine Chick-Fil-A will follow that trend and opemn a location outside of the airport.

The Times Union says a Chick-Fil-A rep is looking in to the validity of the possible Latham location!
