I have a lot of audio saved of many family members and some of my pets. It's just the nature of the business. I bring Ryan into the station and have him record various things. I also have a set-up at my house to capture audio. So when I saw what this tattoo company is doing, I was intrigued. It's more of an app that can read the wave file and let you listen to what your tattoo sound wave says. Skin Motion is the app that would allow you to listen to your tattoo. The developers say that the sound wave is developed digitally in their app and then the tattoo artist can then customize it the the person depending on where it will go. After the tattoo is applied, the customer would then use the app to scan it and play the audio.

There are a couple of things they are working out. For instance the place the tattoo is put on the body. There may be areas that are hard for the app to read. Also they say right now only about a minute of audio would be able to be inked.

Cost is still an issue. They haven't decided on how much it will cost to have this type of tattoo done.

I am all for it. I mean why not? I would definitely get Ryan's little boy voice saying, "I love you" and call me crazy, but I would love to have my dog Freddie's little bark forever too.

Would this be something you would be interested in?
