How Old is Too Old to Have Roommates

Here is today's daily dilemma for March 26th, 2012:

"I'm a 31-year old guy, I'm single, and I don't have any plans to get married or settle down anytime soon. I live with three of my friends in a house, and it's great because our rent payments are super low. My girlfriend thinks I'm too old to have roommates, though. She said once you hit 30, you need to start acting like an adult and that means living alone. Is my girlfriend, right? Are people in their 30's too old to have roommates? Should I move out of the house and get my own place? Yes, I can afford my own apartment, but honesty, why would I spend more money when I don't have to?"
