How much money do you need to make before you feel like your career is successful?  Is it even about money?  Or is it about benefits, vacation days, freedom to do what you want without punching a time-clock?

According to a new survey, the average man says the salary he'd need to feel like his career is successful is $82,800 a year.

Women have slightly lower expectations, (maybe because we know we rarely make as much money as men) they think they need $77,000 a year.

Seems reasonable, right?

And, interestingly enough, the survey also found women believe having flexibility in their schedule shows they've "made it."  For men, it's being their own boss.

How do you know you've made it?  What makes you feel successful?  I'm still waiting for that moment!
