Harry Potter Fans, Take a Trip and Stay in Hagrid’s Hut This Summer
Wanted to live life like a character for Harry Potter, even just for a couple of nights? Did you know that you could spend some time in Hagrid's Hut? Who knows, you may learn a thing or two about dragons!
Travel + Leisure magazine did a feature on a house that you can stay in, in England, that looks just like Hagrid's Hut from the Harry Potter movies.
The house that they're calling the "Groundskeeper's Cottage" (you know, licensing), looks just like the movie seet from the outside but is much more modern on the inside. Plus, everything inside is human-sized, and you won't have to find a way to climb up a Hagrid-sized chair.
The home cost the owner about $250,000 to build a furnish and is only $250 per night.
If you're looking for a nice getaway in a cottage, like Hagrid's, that's a bit of a distance from the mainland, this is it. Like Hagrid, you'd be experiencing the beautiful English countryside of North Shire. The area is also known for "Hobbit’s Hole and Green Dragon Cafe inspired by “Lord of the Rings.”
