Golf Course Ready To Reopen Two Years After Irene Damaged It

Almost two years to the day, Windham Country Club is ready to reopen the golf course after Tropical Storm Irene flooded it.

Irene affected almost all of the Albany area and surrounding communities.

News 10 ABC has a story about the celebration they’re going to have when they reopen this Saturday, August 31, 2013.The owners of the club wanted to make sure that the club was put back the way it was.

After over $1 million dollars was spent, they’re all set for the first tee time, which will be at 7:00 a.m.
