A former Glens Falls High School standout - who hasn't been able to catch on with an NBA team for a few year - lit up the professional basketball world today scoring a whopping 75 points overseas playing in China.

Former Glens falls standout Jimmer Fredette, playing in China for the Shanghai Sharks since 2016, dropped an eye-popping 75 points this afternoon according to Yahoo sports.  Yahoo broke down his incredible statistical performance noting that he was 24-35 from the field, making 7-10 three-pointers and making 20-21 free throws.

Believe it or not, Fredette's seven-nickel scoring explosion wasn't enough as his Sharks were nipped by Beikong by a final score of  137-136.

According to ESPN, Fredette is a bit of hero in China. Fans have nicknamed him 'The Lonely God'.

Fredette toiled around in the NBA for years, but hasn't played in the Association for a few years.  His last NBA stint was back in 2016 when he was signed out of the D-league and had a brief run with the New York Knicks.
