In 2012, Glen Campbell embarked on the 'Goodbye Tour,' with the release of what was billed as his final album, Ghost On The Canvas.

There was some talk, that depending on his health, he would consider extending the tour and play a few more dates in 2013. However, we are now learning that the 77 year-old 'Rhinestone Cowboy' is continuing to struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Sadly, the disease has progressed to the point that he has to stop touring.

The CMA's 1968 Entertainer of the Year is not letting Alzheimer's silence his voice. Campbell still has the desire to sing and he's planning on recording another album to be released in July of 2013. The album will mostly feature re-recordings of his classics with a few new songs.

Meanwhile, Glen Campbell will focus his energy on advocating for Alzheimer's research and awareness. Below is a video for the song 'A Better Place' from the Ghost On The Canvas album.
