Give Blood, See “Game Of Thrones” Premier
There is a dire need for blood donations so the American Red Cross is getting creative. Here's how you can donate blood and have a chance to see the TV premier of "Game Of Thrones". The winter weather and the cold temperatures have hindered blood donations and the Red Cross has come up with a clever way to get more people to donate.
According to Spectrum News, New York provides forty percent of the nations blood supply. There were many drives scheduled throughout the Capital Region, but had to be cancelled due to winter weather conditions. So now the Red Cross is hoping that this incentive will get more donations.
Anyone who donates platelets or gives blood from now until March 17th will be entered to win one of five trips to the world premier of season eight of "Game Of Thrones". Just be aware that you can only donate blood every fifty six days. You are also encouraged to call ahead and make an appointment at redcross.org so you are not waiting in long lines.
