Four Wheeling For Healing – Charity Event For Kids With Chronic Illnesses

Hopefully you know that we here at the Sean and Richie Show are all about the kids (lord knows we act like them sometimes).  But seriously, this comedy nite is a great way for you to help kids with chronic illnesses, and hopefully will help them forget about their sicknesses for just a bit

Four wheeling is a blast.  I used to go with my son in years past.  Here he is, as a matter of fact

It's muddy, it's dirty, and it's loud - PERFECT for kids.  They love it.  You get out on the open road and you feel free.  That's what children with chronic illnesses need as well - that  opportunity to feel those emotions.  Here is an explanation of what they do from their flyer.

4 Wheeling for Healing is a non for profit organization that takes children and their families 4 wheeling.  To qualify for a ride, a child having a chronic illness, such as Autism, Crohn’s Disease, Cancer, Diabetes, Anorexia, Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, or any other illness which required or requires many hospital/doctor’s visits is eligible.    We also take families who are going through some emotional issues in their life.

All families are driven by 4 Wheeling for Healing staff.  Our side by side machines come equipped with seat belts, 5 point harnesses, and safety netting.

Trail riding allows children and their families the chance to take their minds off their illnesses and just have fun, even for just one day.

An outing like this can mean a world of a difference to a child

Children are provided with a DVD of their trail ride, as well as a t-shirt, and lunch.

All rides are free of charge to the child and their families.  Due to manufacturer recommendations, we can only take children ages 12 and above.
