If the vehicle you drive is a Nissan, there's a chance it is under recall for a possible fire hazard. The carmaker is recalling nearly four hundred fifty thousand vehicles. According to News Channel 13, there is a recall on hundreds of thousands of Nissan vehicles worldwide because a brake fluid leak could cause a fire. Nissan is telling owners to park outside and not inside a garage if the antilock brake light comes on for more than ten seconds.

It seems that government documents indicate that the Nissan Murano SUV from 2015 through 2018, Maxima sedans from 2016 through 2018, Infiniti QX60 and Nissan Pathfinder SUVs from 2017 through 2019.

According to Nissan, the antilock brake actuator pump may leak fluid into the circuit board and then cause electrical fires and shorts. Nissan dealers ill replace the pumps on all vehicles affected. There will be a notice sent to owners about the recall on Dec 2nd. A second notice will follow in the summer when the parts are available.
