Farmer’s Almanac Releases Capital Region Winter Forecast
As we get ready to wrap up what has been a hot, and more recently rainy summer, what does Mother Nature have in store for us this winter?
Right about this time every year we start hearing the predictions on what we can expect as far as winter weather in the Capital Region. And if you do not like cold and snow, you won't like what the Farmer's Almanac says we can expect this winter.
According to a WMUR report, the Almanac is predicting a cold and snowy Winter 2018-19 for the Northeast, including 5 big coastal storms. Which means it could be a pretty busy winter weather-wise here in the Albany area. Now, will it come to fruition? That us another story.
Here is what we know. We get snow every winter. It is cold. Depending on your personal preferences, it is either a pain or it is amazing. Either way, we know it's coming. So I say let's enjoy these last few weeks of summer, an amazing fall and let's fuss about the cold weather when it gets here. Just gas up and get the snowblower ready when you have some free time over the next month or so!
