I am still in a state of total shock. Farm Aid in Saratoga could possibly have been the most densely populated place on earth this weekend, but glad to see it was so successful.

I don't see any attendance figures in yet for Farm Aid 2013, but it has to be one of the biggest concerts they've ever had there at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Just to give you an idea, here is one panoramic view:

If you've been there, you'll realize what this is a picture of.  THIS IS JUST THE CONCESSION AREA!!!

There was nothing left to eat but hot dogs (they were great though)!

Again, if you've ever been there before you will agree that you've never seen crowds like this sitting on the extreme left and all the way to the right where the buses come in!

Now here's a view of where we were sitting on the lawn.  There's Dorrie with our friends, Debbie and Bruce Nelson (Dorrie leaning in talking to them).

Yes, we were crammed in like sardines, but we realized it was for a great cause so we didn't complain (too much!).

In case you didn't know who played there, this couple had a great advertisement on the back of their shirts (the right one is for FarmAid, the left I guess was for Kiss and Motley Crue (they weren't there). On the screen was Amos Lee -great voice!

I particularly enjoyed Willie Nelson's son, Lukas Nelson, the incredible Kasey Musgraves (they loved her), and this lady ...

Yes - Carlene Carter of the famous Carter Family.  Great to hear her again.

My Dave Matthews shots came out lousy, and we left during John Mellencamp - it started raining hard and I didn't want to get my camera wet so I have no more pictures, but it was a great afternoon and very glad that they raised a lot of money for family farms !
