Green Bay is undefeated heading into Thanksgiving Day NFL action.

The Detroit Lions have a great team this year as well, and for the first time in a long time this match up will mean a lot to both teams. Green Bay is playing for home field advantage all the way through the NFC Playoffs and Detroit is playing to get in the playoffs for the for the first time in years. The game will be at 12:30pm on FOX

The Detroit Lions have always played on Thanksgiving Day. When I was a kid the Lions and Bears played each other almost every year and that was a great memory seeing the 2 best running backs in football going head to head. The late Walter Payton for the Bears and Barry Sanders for the Lions.

I am crossing my fingers for a Thanksgiving miracle and hope that Detroit wins this game to give Green Bay their first loss of the season. It can happen this year for sure.
