Dale Earnhardt Jr. And Family Safe After Plane Crash

Dale Jr., his wife and daughter Isla were on board a plane that crashed earlier today.

According to a Times Union story, everyone on board, Dale Jr., his wife, their daughter Isla, the pilot and a dog, is all safe and escaped serious injury after the plane they were on crashed shortly after takeoff earlier today. The Times Union report says the plane ran off the runway and started on fire while taking off in Bristol, Tennessee. Dale's sister Kelley Earnhardt tweeted that him and his family were 'safe' and were being evaluated at a local hospital.

So glad to hear Dale and his family are safe! Let's hope everyone escaped any minor injuries as well.
