Clarice Taylor, the actress who played Bill Cosby's mother, Anna Hustable on the The Cosby Show, passed away earlier this week from heart failure. She was 93-years of age and had her family by her side when she passed away. Taylor was not only big into acting on the big screen, but also on stage as a performer and had experience in radio. She helped pave the way for African American actors in the early 1960s and was also a member of the New York stage group and Negro Ensemble Company.
Some of Taylor's other work included Sesame Street as Harriet, David's grandmother; Tell Me That You Love Me, Junie Moon as Minnie, and Sanford & Sons as Grady's cousin Emma.
Taylor was, of course, most known for her reoccuring role on The Cosby Show. She even earned herself an Emmy nomination in 1986. She is survived by two sons and five grandchildren.
