Colorado Accused Killer: ‘My Wife Strangled The Kids’
The very sad and tragic story of the pregnant mom and her two little girls who were murdered last week by accused killer Christopher Watts has taken an interesting turn. One that surely few people are apt to believe, and most certainly, don't want to. The accused killer - 33 year old Christopher Watts - states that that he did strangle his wife and children's mom Shanann, but only after claims that he witnessed her doing the unthinkable.
Shanann, Bella and Celeste were reported missing August 13 from their home in Frederick, a town of about 8,600 people 30 miles north of Denver.The location where their bodies were found Thursday was the site of a petroleum and natural gas company where Chris Watts had worked, authorities said.
He claims that after he told his wife Shanann that he wanted a separation, she went into a rage. He claims to have witnessed the strangulation taking place on the families baby monitor.
According to CNN.com, Chris Watts said the couple's other daughter was already "sprawled out" on her bed and blue by the time he reached the couple's bedroom, according to the Weld County arrest affidavit from Frederick Police. Watts confessed to burying his wife, Shanann Watts, 34, near two oil tanks and dumping the bodies of his daughters, Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3, in the tanks, according to the affidavit.
