5 Cheapest Places to Live In New York State
Places such as Southern California, South Florida and Chicago are usually the most glamorous places to live in, but they are far from the most affordable. In fact, those spots are among the most expensive to live in.
New York State does have New York City, which is extremely expensive to live in, but there are a ton of affordable towns and cities to live in here.
My current residence is Buffalo, and it's one of the more affordable cities in America, along with its suburbs.
If you look at upstate New York, there are other cheap places to live. HomeSnacks recently complied a list of the most affordable places to live in New York State.
They used data, such as home price to income ratio and income to rent ratio to help determine the cheapest places to live in New York State, based off the top 167 cities in population across the state.
