Capital Region Memories

If you’ve lived in the Capital Region for any length of time, I’m sure that you have seen places come and go, especially if you’ve been here your whole life, like me. The number of times that you went past a building and remember what used to be there, and maybe you spent time at that place. Places that made up part of our own history. Things like when Colonie Center was The Colonie Country Club Golf Course, L-Kens was a great summer place to get some good eats or going to Platt’s Place on Wolf Road for ice cream, milk or getting a sandwich. For our younger folk, that’s where Buca di Beppo is now.

As I was driving around, and took pictures of some of the places and remember what they were.
