My wife and her family are from Buffalo, and I spent about five years living out there. I have to say that the community is awesome, but their food is absolutely amazing.

It got me thinking about the fast-food places I love in Buffalo and would like to have here in the Capital Region.

Mighty Taco

The first one that my son and I absolutely love is Mighty Taco. You may be thinking that another Mexican drive-thru restaurant can't be that good. Well, let me tell you. Mighty Taco is so much better than Taco Bell, and I would say just a little bit below Chipotle.

Plus, their prices are comparable to Taco Bell. Their chicken burritos are fresh, their beef and cheese are so good, and their portion sizes are decent.

Anderson's Frozen Custard

The other fast-food restaurant I wish we had here in the Capital Region is Anderson's. This place is amazing and always fresh.

They are known for their roast beef sandwiches, yes, beef on weck. But you can also get hot roast beef or turkey sandwiches with mashed potatoes and gravy. They have burgers, chicken, baked potatoes, and fries, and more.

But the best thing about Anderson's is that they are known for their frozen custard. They have it year-round, and it's so delicious.

The next step is to figure out how to get these two fast-food restaurants from Western New York into the Capital Region. Who knows? If I hit the lottery, maybe I will franchise them here. I know you guys would love them.

What are some other fast-food restaurants you would like to see in the Capital Region that are in other parts of the state?

New Chipotle Being Built in Saratoga County-See The Progress

Get ready for the thirteenth Chipotle Mexican Grill location in the Capital Region. It's being built in a very busy section of Saratoga County. This one will also come with a rare drive-thru called the Chipotlane. Check out the progress.
