BREAKING: Buffalo Bills Fire Head Coach Rex Ryan

Is anyone surprised? Rex failed to end the Bills 17 season playoff drought.

It's bad news for Rex Ryan, and I would assume good news for Bills fans. With a game still to go in the NFL Season, the Bills decided to fire their head coach, according to ESPN. I don't think any Bills fans are shocked or unhappy with this. Rex got the same result he got as coach of the Jets: lots of unfulfilled promises.

Rex finished 15-16 in 31 games as the Bills head coach, and failed to do what he was brought in to do: get the Bills into the playoffs. It's been a long time. The last time the Bills played in a playoff game? January 8 2000 against the Tennessee Titans. Bills fans are all too familiar with this game, the famed last second Music City Miracle when the Titans won the game on a last second trick play on a kick-off return.

he Bills still have not recovered from that play. Hopefully their next coach can bring the, back to the promised land
