Blue Friday Fundraiser Picnic at the Joe Bruno Stadium

We all know the importance of Blue Friday and what it means to us here at the Sean Richie and Bethany Show.   We'd love to see you come out and support this great cause on Wednesday night at the Joe Bruno Stadium in Troy.

OK – in case you've never heard of it, Blue Friday is a charity established for the family members of phone police officers killed in the line of duty. I don't have to tell you that there've been too many to mention, this year has been one of the worst.   There's even an "Officers Down Memorial"  website dedicated to such tragedies.

To raise even more awareness of this great cause, there's going to be a benefit  picnic and baseball game at the Joe Bruno Stadium in Troy this Wednesday night.   We will be there, and certainly hope to see some of our loyal WGNA fans show up as well for great food and the chance to celebrate some of the local heroes that are here to serve and protect, as well as give some thought to the fallen ones in our community that we should never forget.
