If you’re starting to get tired of the winter routine, and cold weather activities aren’t for you - do something different!  There are many opportunities for fun in the Albany area that don’t involve snow or skiing.  You can get a group of friends together for most of these, or take the family.

Laser Tag  -  Zero Gravity on Central Ave has an indoor play area of 5000 square feet where two teams of up to 20 players each can compete.  On Tuesday/Thursday from 6-10pm you can play unlimited games for $20. On Wednesdays you can play 3 games for $15.

Miniature Golf – you can play glow-in-the-dark miniature golf in the lower level of Crossgates Mall at GlowGolf.  Bring a group of 5 or more people and pay $8 each for 3 games.

Laser Maze – Also in the GlowGolf location, you can take the Laser Maze challenge.  Climb over, under and around laser beams without touching one to win.

New York State Museum – you can get into all of the exhibit halls of the NYS Museum for free (donations welcome).  There is something for all ages at the museum with history and science and both permanent and traveling exhibits, so you’ll see something new every time you visit.

Bowling – there are many bowling alleys in the Albany area, including: Olympic Lanes in Menands, Del Lanes in Delmar, Playdium Bowling Center in Albany and Spare Time in Latham.
