New Entertainment & Dining Spot Now Open At Crossgates Mall

The old Lucky Strike location is being taken over by a new entertainment destination.

According to a Times Union report, Apex Entertainment is officially open for business today at Crossgates Mall in the old Lucky Strike location. In addition to the bowling alley, the Times Union says Apex features "...bumper cars, laser tag, sports simulators, virtual-reality games, escape rooms, gaming arcade and more." Apex also has a restaurant (you can see the menu here) that basically features pub style fare. The highlight on the menu as the Times Union points out has to be what Apex calls "The largest pretzel you've ever seen."

It was a bummer when Lucky Strike closed, as it was always a fun spot to hang out, plus the music club/venue they had there was great. Looking at the Apex website, it does not look like they will still feature a music venue, but there are other event spaces there for things like corporate events and birthday parties.
