I can't remember the last time that I got an entire night of uninterrupted sleep. It's definitely been more than a year and these days, it's not because of being in my third trimester of pregnancy and miserable, but because of my adorable little boy who randomly wakes up through the night, laughing every 15 minutes or so.

Unreal. We're 24 days away from Black Friday and already getting stories like this one- there's a guy who's trying to break the record for the longest Black Friday campout. Say what?!?

Isn't it incredible the relationships built on social sites? I always love when someone sends me a Facebook friend request and I get to know them over time and then when I meet them in person, I feel like I've known them my whole life.

I'm not even kidding when I say that my stomach hurts from laughing so hard. When was the last time you had a side-splitting laugh? A laugh that made tears run down your face?

You have a million things to do before kids start ringing your bell looking for candy. It’s easy to get impatient with little ones who take a long time picking out a piece of candy or if they don’t say thank you. But what you might not know is that little kid standing at your door without a costume could be autistic.

I love that Halloween falls on a Saturday this year not only because it means both my husband and I will be able to take our little guy out trick-or-treating for his first Halloween, but also because after we put John to bed, Jay and I will be able to snuggle up on the couch and finish the night with a Halloween movie or two.

I haven't been this excited for Halloween since I was a little girl. I grew up in Scotia and wish I could say that my costumes were super cool, but I was obsessed with ballet, so I was a perpetual ballerina. So if you remember a little girl showing up for candy at your house, wearing the same costume every year, that was probably me.

We’ve all seen them- those incredibly creepy yet very cool looking contact lenses that make a person’s eyes look extra spooky. Thinking of putting in a pair this Halloween? You might want to reconsider.

Last Halloween, I was expecting my first and wanted to dress up, but didn't want to spend a lot of money or be trapped in an uncomfortable costume, so I turned to my friends for ideas. What they came up with was fantastic!

Meeting up with my sister in Delanson to take my niece, Kayleigh to see the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train has become something of a tradition for our family. However, this year we're going to have to move our tradition to the Saratoga area.

Well, this hit me in the heart. Just yesterday, I was talking to a friend about how I don't want to be a woman who looks back on my life and wishes I'd done things differently. I don't want to be that person so consumed by work and other obligations that I miss out on the precious moments with my husband and son.
