Moments later, more units responded to a nearby restaurant within the plaza, where they located a 34-year-old male employee suffering from stab wounds to the chest and arm. A Saratoga County Sheriff’s Deputy applied a tourniquet at the scene before EMS transported the victim to Albany Medical Center.

Authorities say he is currently in stable condition and is expected to survive.

Investigators determined that Vaccaro allegedly waited outside the restaurant and attacked the victim as he exited after finishing his shift. State Police say the knife used in the incident was recovered and processed by the Forensic Investigation Unit.

Vaccaro has been charged with Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, a Class B felony. He was arraigned early Monday morning and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail on $200,000 cash bail or $400,000 bond.
