American Idol Returns With Keith Urban

American Idol has always been a good friend to Country Music. Through the last decade-plus, the FOX television show has featured several Country Music themed nights, Country Music guests, contestants, winners and now a superstar country judge is on the panel.

When the 12th season kicks off on January 16 and 17, Keith Urban will represent Country Music, alongside Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, and Randy Jackson, as a judge on American Idol 2013. This isn't the first time Urban has appeared on the show. Remember when he sang a duet with Kris Allen?
