What’s The Deal With Albany? Jerry Seinfeld Announces Albany Show
Festivus came early! Seinfeld is one of those shows that has lingered in the collective consciousness for longer than it expected, and still stands as one of the greatest sitcoms of all time.
While Jerry Seinfeld is a fictional comedian in the show, he's still a very successful comedian in our world, and he's headed to Albany!
What to Know About Jerry Seinfeld
Seinfeld was born in 1954 in Brooklyn, New York. He began his education in Upstate at SUNY Oswego, before transferring to CUNY Queens College, graduating with a Bachelors in the Arts. He started his career in the late 1970s, before gaining a little prominence as a comedian in the early '80s.

In 1988, he partnered with Larry David to create The Seinfeld Chronicles, later renamed to simple Seinfeld. It was a fictionalized version of Jerry's life, played up for laughs. By its third season, it was the most watched sitcom on American television.
By this point, Jerry was a star, and continued that stardom as a touring stand-up comedian.
