Albany’s Nine Pin Cider & Local Award-Winning Chef Mix it up With New Sauces
Two of the Capital Region's best have collided to make signature sauces to sell across the country. Chef Ric Orlando has teamed up with Nine Pin Ciderworks to create two delicious sauces that hit the market today.
Award-winning Chef Ric Orlando is known for his Hudson Valley and Albany restaurants and his brand named seasonings and sauces. Now he will be known for using Nine Pin Cider in his two new signature sauces. According to News 10 ABC, Chef Orlando has always been a fan of cooking with Nine Pin Cider so he has used it in two new sauces. He's created a signature BBQ and Ginger BBQ using the Nine Pine Cider. These will be available starting today (September 2nd) at Nine Pin's tasting room in Albany and online. They then will be distributed at stores across the country.
The folks at Nine Pin Ciderworks say that they have been working with Chef Orlando for quite some time. Alejandro del Peral, co-founder, and cidermaker said the BBQ sauces
