Albany Police Warn about Car Thieves and Their Latest Targets
Thieves in Albany targeting certain drivers
How many times have you gotten out of the car - while it was still running - and said to yourself, "It'll be fine, I'll be out in a second...I'm just running into the store real quick!"
It's never a good idea to leave your keys in the car, or have it running while it's unattended, but at some point, we've all been guilty of it.
More than likely, your car was there when you got back, but police in Albany reminded drivers that leaving your car running while it's unattended is not only unlawful but worse, you could be left in the dust.
